We are recruiting for a Cabinet Executive Assistant 18.5hrs a week to work as part of a job share Wednesday PM & Thursday and Friday full day on permanent based in the Cabinet Office in County Building Stafford (with the opportunity for home working)
The role sits within the Business and Executive Support team who offer a range of administrative services to the organisation and is flexible to meet demand and support of the service priorities.
This role will be providing all aspects of high level, confidential support to our County Council Cabinet Members and Cabinet Support Members.
The Cabinet is made up of the Leader and Deputy Leader who are elected by the majority party, currently Conservative and nine other Councillors who are chosen by the Leader. Each of the nine Cabinet Members has an individual area of responsibility also known as his or her portfolio.
Currently there are three Cabinet Support Members who have a designated area of responsibility one reporting to the Cabinet Member for Health and Care and two to the Cabinet Member for Highways Operations.
