We are currently looking for a Senior Bid Manager to join our team at Mountsorrel in Leicestershire on a fixed term contract for 12 months with a start date of 1st July 2024. This role will offer hybrid working.

Main Responsibilities

In the role of Senior Bid Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Contributing to the target performance of the Contracting Business through the production of Client-facing documents such as Quality Submissions, Pre-Qualification Questionnaires, Capability Statements and Case studies either individually or as the leader of a small team
  • Liaising with regional operational offices to fully understand Client expectations and develop documentation that meets them
  • Managing, mentoring and supporting direct reports
  • Working collaboratively with CSD management team to deliver outputs
  • Supporting the Head of Commercial Services to set strategy for the department.
  • Deputising for the Head of Commercial Services as and when required
The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate for the role of Senior Bid Manager will have experience of:

  • Extensive experience of working in a work winning (bid) related role or project management role
  • Experience of managing line reports
  • Delivering and driving strategy
  • Highly analytical
  • Leadership skills, the ability to communicate a vision and motivate a team of employees
  • Proven expertise in developing work winning strategies
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and develop relationships through collaboration
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive and self driven 
  • Demonstrates ownership of work and leadership of team members
  • Clear and transparent communicator
