The Cambian Group, the UK’s largest provider of specialist services in education, mental health rehabilitation and learning disabilities, is looking for a dedicated, caring individual to join the company as a Holistic Therapist based at Cambian Wing College, Bournemouth.

Cambian Wing College is an independent provider of specialist further education and residential care in the South West. We offer day and up to 52-week residential placements for young people aged 16 to 25 years.  We typically support students who have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder, Mental Health, and a range of behaviour, emotional and complex needs (including medical)

Job Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and interested individual to work as part of the Wellbeing team at Cambian Wing College. This post will combine clinical and administrative support roles: you will work directly with individual Young People or with groups to deliver Wellbeing, and fitness programmes, under the direction of the Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist in the Educational and residential settings, and report on individuals progress, provide support with resources for individuals and contribute to the development of each Young Persons Wellbeing. You will receive regular supervision and, as part of the Cambian team be eligible for training.

Candidate Profile

It is essential that the successful candidate has an interest in developing young people’s Health and Wellbeing and have worked with Young people previously, preferably with Young People with special needs. Basic IT skills and the ability to work flexibly and collaboratively as part of a busy team are essential for all aspects of this post.

A successful candidate will have to meet the person specification in order to be offered this post.

Experience working with ASD and/or Experience in Mental Health
