We need you to lead our digital transformation programme across both our Saga and Titan websites, driving both sales and conversion but also post-sale servicing and digital engagement, shaping and owning the roadmap from end-to-end.

The Saga Travel Groups digital team is growing, you will be key to developing and executing our strategic digital product proposition and roadmap to provide an exceptional online and omni-channel user experience for users and to maximise commercial performance across sales and post-sales service & engagement.

** Hybrid working, your allocated Hub will be London or Ashford. You will need to be in a commutable distance to one of these hubs. You will visit the office hub once or twice a week.

Main Responsibilities

You will be taking over from an existing contractor resource, allowing for a hand over period so that you can embed and take the reins. Your areas of responsibility will cover:

  • Working across the Digital, Marketing and wider Product, Commercial and Customer services teams to develop and execute Saga Travel Group’s digital transformation programme.
  • Closely work with the Business Analyst, data, digital and wider business stakeholders to create data-driven product stories, driving online conversion, post-sale online servicing and exceptional customer experience.
  • Prioritising initiatives based on strategic and commercially driven benefits, whilst championing an exceptional customer-centric digital and omni-channel experience.
  • To deliver against the agreed digital roadmap with clear understanding and articulation of business requirements and KPIs.
  • Establishing a clear understanding and articulation of the STG systems, digital ecosystem including the 3rd party platforms that integrate with it and are a dependency for delivery.
  • Managing the Agile delivery of Digital change, taking requirements from wider business stakeholders and creating actionable user stories for the Development and Design team.
  • Assessing all business change requests which have a Digital Impact to ensure requirements are understood, estimated correctly and planned effectively with the development team.
  • Identify opportunities for digital and customer experience innovation, pilots and prototyping.
The Ideal Candidate

You will already have worked as a Digital Product Manager or Lead and be well versed to working across matrix teams consisting of experts in UX, UI, Dev op’s, PPC, web analytics, trading and CRO. You will be technically savvy and most importantly commercially focussed on product performance. You will be able to demonstrate the following skills;  

  • Extensive experience of managing multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast paced, competitive environment
  • Proven experience in running beta and pilot programmes with early-stage products. 
  • Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products.
  • Able to translate strategy into measurable operational goals and objectives; product vision and strategy should drive and underpin day-to day product management activities.
  • Have a good understanding of the current Digital marketplace and transforming these into business plans and goals.
  • A proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
  • Confident to meet business targets and deliver on projects.
  • A strategic thinker with the ability to influence at a senior level.
  • Have a data-driven and customer centric approach.
  • Proficient with Agile development methodologies, backlog grooming.
  • Can demonstrate an excellent work ethic with drive and energy to get things done.
  • Able to build partnership relationships with clients, but also foster strong internal working relationships.

Desirable:

  • Have previous experience in managing change across the product management lifecycle for a large consumer facing digital product.
