South Cambs Child & Family Centres has a vacancy for a part time (18.5hrs) child & family centre worker based in one of our 5 Child & Family Centres/Zones (Cambourne, Melbourn, Sawston, Waterbeach, Northstowe).

The Child & Family Centre team form a key part of the wider South Cambs Targeted Support team.

What will you be doing?

The role of a Child & Family Centre Worker is an exciting, dynamic and ever-evolving role aiming to offer families within South Cambridgeshire a high-quality provision working towards a family hubs model.

With a particular focus on the 0-5 age group, you will provide support to children and families to access information, advice and guidance, play, support and learning opportunities in both targeted and universal group settings. Support will be delivered in both Child & Family Centres and outreach venues within the wider community.

As a Child & Family Centre Worker you will be motivated and positive about contributing to the lives of children, young people and their families. You will work both autonomously and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team within the wider Targeted Support service.

About you

We are looking for a highly committed, enthusiastic, and hardworking professional who will be part of a diverse multi-disciplinary team supporting families throughout South Cambridgeshire.

Applicants will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.

You must be eligible to work in the UK

Candidates must be willing and able to travel.
