An exciting opportunity has arisen to join North Northamptonshire Council as an Administration Assistant within the Planning Department. The successful candidate will be based at our Kettering office, and have the opportunity to be part of a talented development team, shaping the communities of the future.

What will you be doing?

You will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate administration of planning applications including downloading and inputting, registration, notification, file management, and decision issuing to enable performance targets to be met. You will also provide general administrative support to the Development Management team.

About you

You will be computer literate with good oral and written communication skills. You will be organised with the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines whilst maintaining attention to detail. You will be an effective team player, but capable of working on own initiative.
