Huntingdon Day Services is a group of 3 day centres for Adults with a Learning Disabilities in and around the Huntingdon area. Huntingdon Day Centre is the main service based near Huntingdon town centre with CATS & Shortsands being satellite day services in St Ives and St Neots.

We are looking for a highly motivated, creative, and enthusiastic Support Workers who will be based in Huntingdon. These positions will involve supporting adults with learning disabilities during the day, Monday - Friday, in the community and in the day service.

We are looking for staff who are interested and skilled in running activities such as exercises, craft, gardening, cooking and music, as well as supporting service users to access community resources.

What will you be doing?

Support Workers will assist service users with all aspects of their care, with an emphasis on providing activities and empowering them to maintain their independence and well-being. A good understanding of equal opportunities, person centred approach and diversity are all essential.

About you

Support Workers will be in regular contact with service users, families, carers, other professionals, and partner agencies; therefore, the role will require you to have excellent verbal and written communication skills combined with a sensitive and professional approach.
