Sutton Recruitment are delighted to be working with a new, exciting client based in the Scunthorpe area looking to recruit an out-going and professional Sales Executive who has a Technical mind set.

The client has manufactured their patented product for over 50 years continuously striving for success, growth and profitability not just in the United Kingdom but also Worldwide.

Position Overview;
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team, focusing on promoting and selling the company’s main products. The Sales Executive will play a crucial role in expanding the market share, fostering strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth within the construction sector.

Key Responsibilities;
• Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and penetrate the market effectively.
• Product Promotion: Promote products and solutions to contractors, architects, engineers, and other relevant stakeholders within the construction industry.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
• Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential customers, market trends, and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies and product positioning.
• Pipeline Management: Manage sales pipelines, including lead generation, qualification, and conversion, utilising CRM tools effectively.
• Technical Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of products, their applications, and benefits to effectively communicate value propositions to customers.
• Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams such as marketing, product development, and customer support to ensure alignment and maximise sales opportunities.
• Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and analyses to track performance against targets and identify areas for improvement.


Experience;
• Proven track record of success in sales, preferably within the construction or building materials industry.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.
• Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

What’s on offer;
• Monday to Friday, 08:00am – 16:30pm (30 minute lunch un-paid)
• Work From Home Friday’s on successful completion of probation period
• 20 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays (Birthday off)
• Company car OR Car allowance on successful completion of probation period
• Nest Pension; 3% client, 5% employee

To be suitable for this role, you must have a full driving license and your own vehicle to begin with.
