Due to continued growth we are seeking a bank cleaning operative. Your role will involve mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and washroom cleaning duties. You’ll be working in a variety of locations, predominantly communal areas: sheltered accommodation, blocks of flats and colleague offices, so you’ll need to be comfortable and flexible to take on any challenge. You’ll be working by yourself or as part of a team, with an expectation to carry out this work to a high standard, and in line with our rigorous specification of work, and health and safety regulations.

You’ll make sure that all of our customers, schemes and properties receive the highest levels of service, learning from experience when things don’t always go to plan. We expect you to take responsibility for safeguarding; identifying and raising potential risks within our communities.

This is a bank position working up to 40 hours per week. Due to the nature of the role, this position will require a basic DBS check.

As a cleaning operative with us, we want you to have:

• Cleaning experience, commercial and household
• A good understanding of health and safety, COSHH requirements
• Basic IT knowledge and using mobile devices (training can be provided)
• Experience in a customer-facing environment
• The ability to work on your own and as part of a team
• Access to a car and a full UK driving licence
• Car business insurance (desirable, not essential)
• Strive to be an excellent ambassador for Bromford.

Your previous experience may be in roles as a cleaner, domestic cleaner, cleaning operative, commercial cleaner, waste operative, waste cleansing operative, amongst others.
