• Design and maintain pricing emulator to future-proof and keep pace with developments in core pricing system.
• Design and maintain processes to ensure suitable implementation of coefficients in core pricing system.
• Ongoing Algorithm development for existing and new cohorts as they become operational.
• Ensure wider business / stakeholders understand importance of pricing emulator and need to have this regularly developed.
• Build, test & run pricing emulator to ensure coefficients are implemented in line with plan.
• Proactively work with release team in MEDD team to ensure smooth implementation of releases with correct level of testing oversight.
• Engage with internal stakeholders from all divisions to ensure that there is awareness of pricing process recommendations and the reasons for these.
• Liaise with and assist the wider underwriting and pricing team with implementation of potential new factors / ways of pricing.
• Provide assistance with pricing changes in conjunction with Digital and Change, making sure changes proceed as planned, answering any queries relating to progress and attending change meetings.

A background in analytics or data governance is key to success in this role, as will be your proficiency in systems implementation, analysis, and testing. Whether you hold a numerical degree or boast hands-on experience in managing intricate data sets and databases, your expertise will be pivotal in shaping the future of our pricing strategies at MPS.

Your expertise in advanced T-SQL coding, such as macro language, dynamic SQL, and system stored procedures, will be a game-changer in driving our pricing systems to new heights. Extensive experience in leveraging analytics to design and execute business strategies in a high-energy environment is a must, along with a keen sense of business analysis and commercial acumen.
