Job Title: Security Officer - Hull

Work Pattern: 12 hour shifts

First Response Group are looking for a Security officer in the Hull area. We are looking for someone with experience within the security industry and with a valid frontline SIA licence.

Key Responsibilities:
- This is a customer facing role where you will ensure the security of people and property. Working within a student accommodation setting you will be required to have strong commitment to customer service, be a friendly face who enjoys helping others and build a good rapport with residents.
- Presenting at all times as smart and alert
- Access/Egress control and securing customer premises.
- Report security and welfare incidents accurately and in detail, digitally and in daily occurrence books.
- Effectively deal with emergency situations and communicate and work with colleagues and emergency services when required.
- Monitoring CCTV
- Lock /Unlock of flats/rooms to provide access when required.
- Investigation and resolving fire alarm activations – experience and understanding of fire panels is an advantage.
- Regular internal and external patrols and be a visible presence to help deter criminal activity and reassure residents of their safety and security.
Requirements:
Essential:
- Valid Frontline SIA licence.
- Commitment to providing first-class customer service.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Fully comprehensive 5-year work/education history.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Reliability.
- Punctuality.
