Platform Property Care have a great opportunity for a Gas Engineer Service & Repair based in the Solihull, Coventry, and Tamworth area to join our award- winning Heating Team.
What could you be doing?
Working within our Voids Maintenance Team from carrying out minor servicing, full services, and repairs to basic pipe installations, we need you to help us keep our homes up to temperature. You will play a key role in getting our homes up to the lettable standard and ready for new customers.
As a team player, you’ll be hard working and keen to learn with a can-do attitude. You’ll be personable with good communication skills, and you’ll also need to be organised and recognise the importance of delivering good customer service and works right first time. 
Some things we need from you
• You will have sound experience and be ACS qualified and have CCN1, CKR1, HTR1, CEN1 (or CENWAT), MET1, LPG and CPA1.
• NVQ Level 2 Plumbing/ Heating/ Ventilation is essential
• You will be a good communicator and can work well with customers and other trades.
• You’ll have a full UK driving licence
• As you will be working in our customers’ homes you would also require a DBS check.
There is also the opportunity to earn up to £1500 per annum from the out of hours on-call allowance and voluntary overtime. This role will require being on the out of hours rota.
This is a mobile role covering a locality in the West Midlands around Solihull, Coventry, and Tamworth so you will need to be based in or close to this area.

*The advertised salary is based upon a base salary for a Gas Engineer Service & Repair of £40,151 per annum, with average OTE earnings of up to £1,500 pro rata achieved from the out of hours on-call allowance and voluntary overtime.
