Are you an Approved Electrician in Worcestershire looking to make a real difference to your Customers’ lives?

Platform Property Care has a great opportunity for an experienced Approved Electrician to join our Responsive Repairs team in a mobile role covering work around Worcester, Malvern, Ledbury Hereford and surrounding areas so a van with a fuel card is provided.

You’ll be joining a talented repairs team carrying out remedial work, general maintenance, and repairs across our properties. You will thrive on giving great customer service and keeping jobs on track and have the drive to make sure the work is completed to spec. You will have a right first-time mentality ensuring the Customer is at the centre of everything you do.

The role is varied, and no two days are the same! It's a tough task and our expectations are high. In return you’ll have the support of a great team!

We want somebody who can:

A team player, you’ll be hard working and keen to learn with a can-do attitude. You’ll be working in people’s homes, so you’ll need to be friendly and approachable with good communication skills. You’ll also need to be organised and recognise the importance of delivering good customer service. 

We are looking for someone who has:

Served an apprenticeship in Electrical or obtained an equivalent NVQ L3 & City & Guilds L3 in Electrical installation, commissioning, and certification
AM2
City and Guilds 2391 or equivalent in testing and inspection
18th Edition regulation
Sound experience in delivering a range of electrical work and services in a domestic setting
Experience of working for a social Landlord, Housing Association or Council.
Strong customer service skills
A full driving licence
As you will be working within Customer’s homes this role requires a DBS check.
There is also the opportunity to earn additional income from being on the out of hours rota as required.

*The advertised salary is based on a base salary for electricians of £38,520 per annum with average OTE earnings of up to £1,900 per annum achieved from the out of hours on-call allowance and voluntary overtime. This role does require work on the out of hours rota, which includes availability over 7 days including working Saturdays and Sunday.
