An exciting opportunity have arisen within SE Trains as we look to add to our engineering team in Gillingham.
You will be responsible for carrying out routine repairs (electrical and mechanical), examination work and first level fault finding as directed by the Team Leader.

This is a wide ranging role providing technical expertise for the business. As an SE3, you will be responsible for primary defect repairs to in service units, including defect troubleshooting, defect diagnosis, work scope adherence and defect rectification. You will get the chance to work on our newest/latest fleet of trains that Southeastern has to offer. You will also liaise with external stakeholders in all duties where necessary.
Reporting directly to the SE5, you will carry out all engineering activities, including exams, defect rectification, modifications, and time based maintenance packages and repair. At Southeastern we are dedicated to providing our customers with a reliable transport structure, striving to complete tasks and work with colleagues effectively to achieve the required standards and specifications.
