If so, we invite you to join our Housing team as Housing Manager (Older People and Supported Living)In this crucial role, you would possess a demonstrated history of providing exceptional customer service and effectively leading teams to success. You will oversee all the operational duties related to both Housing for older people and supported living across the district. Take the lead in managing & developing services for residents ensuring regulatory, contractual, and quality standards are met.Additionally, you will actively develop your team to provide outstanding housing management services, empowering and supporting our customers to have real control and influence over their homes and communities.We are EastlightAt Eastlight, we believe that purpose drives progress. We’re on a journey to make our communities better.Delivery of excellent Housing ManagementExplore the needs and requirements of older tenants and communities in supportive living arrangements, identifying potential factors and obstacles to facilitate the delivery of suitable and efficient housing and community services.Effectively handle intricate matters with tenants, employing critical judgment in diverse and dynamic scenarios, and collaborating with external agencies to ensure the sustainability of tenancies.Embrace and promote the principles of community gateway and ensure that all opportunities for engagement and empowerment are maximised in line with Eastlight’s Corporate and other Strategies.Provide guidance and direction to a team providing housing and community related services, communicating how the action plan links to Eastlight's vision.Plan and deliver stakeholder engagement activities to develop effective working and collaboration within Eastlight, and external partners.Inspire your team members to consistently update case management data, identifying and resolving issues to ensure the organisation efficiently, safely, and effectively addresses its customers' needs.Develop, direct, and coordinate the development and review of strategies that support the wellbeing of residents across a variety of ages and groups. Ensuring residents are involved from the start in shaping and developing these strategies. At Eastlight we support, develop, and invest in our people, together creating a culture where people love to work.What we require Proven experience of supervising and directing a team and resources to achieve results.Experience of managing frontline services to success.Demonstrable experience of strong leadership of managing teams including change and risk management.Experience of engaging and empowering residents in the management of their homesKnowledge of public policy issues and safeguarding in the delivery of services to residents and communities.Good understanding of housing law and best practiceTo demonstrate our commitment to you, we have developed a sector leading total rewards package.£50,717 annual salaryPermanent, Full-Time-Office basedAnnual wellbeing grant of £200 per annum – Subject to eligibility • Group stakeholder pension plan (Eastlight will double, up to 5% of the employee’s contribution - Employee 5% + Eastlight 10% = Total 15%) 30 days annual leave plus bank holidaysTrailblazing family leave [Maternity, Paternity and Adoption – 12 weeks full pay / 6 weeks half pay] – Subject to eligibility.
