We have an exciting opportunity where you could be a part of our incredible team.

In this role you will work in partnership with the wider business to ensure the management and delivery of the company business plan in the 0-3 month Horizon.

This role is responsible for controlling supply & demand in the short-term horizon to ensure Supply Chain objectives are met and to work in partnership with the Commercial Operations team to ensure commercial objectives are met.
 

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Monitors and manages the balance of demand and supply in short term 0-3 months:   Utilises LBP Demand Forecast along with Stock Projection information to identify deviations from demand plan, identifies root causes and corrective actions
  • Manages the demand changes processes for requests within the 12-week time fence and provides timely feedback on feasibility to Sales and Operations teams
  • Manages Prioritisation process:  In the event of constrained supply, the Demand Control Manger will take the decision as to when product needs to be on allocation.  The Demand Control Manager coordinates the structure of the allocation with stakeholders. Manages and develops communication of challenges appropriately in the business
  • Aggregates performance/outlook feedback from Commercial Team to identify relevant or actionable trends in under or over performance.    Determines which deviations are significant enough for intervention in demand plan and publishes to LBP Demand Team. 
  • Determines volume to be rolled between periods and communicates
  • Works with Demand Planning Manager to determine items to go forward into DMR process for long term adjustment
  • Manages the Seasonal consumption/allocation process
  • Manages the Aged and Obsolete stock process
  • Ownership of weekly Demand Control Meeting.   Determines frequency, attendee list, agenda and key topics/decisions required
  • Development of continuous improvement approach to ensure DC is enhanced over time and keeps up with emerging requirements/trends
  • Facilitates weekly/daily 3PL/Lindt operations call
     

What experience you’ll bring

  • Experience in working in a food/drink FMCG environment
  • Effective communication skills to present, summarise and make proposals to key stakeholders including Senior Management
  • Highly numerate with strong analytical skills
  • Proactive, tenacious and with the ability to use own initiative
  • Driven and willing to go above and beyond what is required
  • Comfortable with pivotal role in delivery of organisational performance and confident to act autonomously when needed
  • Strong Excel and ideally, SAP systems knowledge (SAP ECC and SAP APO planning)
  • Ability to identify weaknesses in the Material Master Data flow and propose modifications / improvements to the business
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with all the departments of the company and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise 
  • Able to hold others accountable for their timely and accurate inputs into the process
  • Clear communication and good influencing skills

Where you’ll be based
This role is based in Feltham, London (Hybrid Working: in the office 60% and WFH 40%)
