The Role

Are you kind, approachable and non-judgmental?

Are you looking to work for an organisation that will provide the opportunity and support for you to succeed?

If so, this role may be just what you are looking for…

We are looking for an Advice and Navigation Worker to join our Housing Support service in Cambridge City Centre and South Cambridgeshire.

This role involves helping people to find appropriate accommodation solutions in our mission to prevent homelessness. You will provide housing related support and advice to people to assist them with maintaining their tenancy and prevent evictions.

As an Advice and Navigation Worker, you will deliver Hub “drop in” support sessions within the community to help people to understand their options and navigate the services available to them, with the overall aim of avoiding homelessness and building independence. You will host drop-in sessions at various locations and will be expected to develop this part of the service.

We are seeking passionate individuals who can work in a fast-paced environment, be flexible and dynamic, solutions focused and have a keen interest in supporting people to improve their lives. Experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.

What We Offer

In return we offer the chance to join an expanding, dynamic organisation, with excellent opportunities for personal and professional development. We also offer a great benefits package on completion of the probation review:

· 27 days annual leave per year, plus Bank Holidays

· Pension Scheme

· Paycare Employee Assistance Programme

· Excellent Training Opportunities
