As a Workshop Technician, you will maintain equipment and the branch to a standard that complies with/exceeds all current Health and Safety at Work legislation.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for keeping stock time in the workshop to a minimum by maintaining and repairing equipment to meet safety standards. This will require applying a test and run procedure for items transferred in to the depot or returned from hire and assessing their need to go in to workshop or back to depot availability.

Additional ad-hoc duties may arise and you will be required to take responsibility for workshop cleanliness, safety and supplies through the course of each shift.  

What We're Looking For

  • Basic knowledge of how to repair and maintain small tools products, additional training would also be given
  • Good communication skills both with colleagues and customers internally and externally
  • Be able to manage workloads and prioritise effectively
  • Have a good knowledge of the local area
  • Be IT literate, the department operates a fully automated system for which full training will be provided
