What you’ll be doing

As one of our Catering Assistants* your duties will be varied, our centre is always busy, so we need team members that are happy to help wherever required.

You will be working in the kitchen assisting with food preparation and helping to serve food to our visitors. In addition to assisting our catering team with setting up the dining room for breakfast, lunch, and dinner service.

Other duties can include helping our housekeeping operations, with tasks such as cleaning and laundry.

Where you’ll be based

Located next to Box Hill in Surrey, the Field Studies Council Juniper Hall centre has beautiful scenery and countryside surroundings yet is very easy to reach by car or public transport.

Juniper Hall has two accommodation blocks and can accommodate a maximum of 130 guests.

We are fortunate that our learning location has a variety of outdoor field sites in close proximity. This allows our visitors to study numerous subject matters including, grassland and woodland studies, urban and rural regeneration studies, fluvial studies, freshwater ecology, and coastal management.
