We are looking for a confident Support Team Leader with a passion for delivering outstanding care.

You’ll be working 32 hours a week, 4 (8 hour day) shifts per week, making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at our North West Supported Living Services.

For this role you will need to drive, and have your own vehicle as you will be a Team Leader at all of our services including: Boden Street, Warrington Road, Townfield Avenue, Kingsway South and Rydal Avenue

Your day-to-day…

  • Supporting the regional manager, management team and team members in the day-to-day running of the service
  • Responsible for supervising a team of senior support workers which is currently x3 full time
  • Ensure duties are allocated effectively and safely
  • Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care
  • Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
  • Learn about individuals’ specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
  • Support with an on call rota for out of hour’s support 
  • Assist with medical & welfare needs and report as required
  • Safeguard
  • Maintain a safe & clean environment for all

You are…

  • Genuinely driven with a desire to make a real difference in people’s lives
  • Experienced in chairing meetings with professionals and teams
  • Confident and competent in leading the service in the absence of Regional Manager
  • Experience in leading or being part of CQC or Ofsted inspections
  • Level 3 or above qualified in a leadership qualification in Social Care
  • An excellent communicator & a good team player
  • Sensitive & intuitive with the energy required to provide a trusting, stimulating & varied environment
  • Passionate about empowering & supporting service user independence

Successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
