What you’ll do:   

• Consistently deliver new hospitality menu to a high company standard inline with the head chef vision and clients expectation.
• Run daily sections alongside kitchen team members
• Responsible to run the day-to-day kitchen operation and deputising in the absence of the Head Chef.
• Responsible for the preparation and presentation of all menu items, to ensure that a high culinary Standard is met and that the service is prompt and efficient.
• To make sure specified standards of food handling and storage and Stock Rotation are practiced.
• Support the Head chef in menu planning, costings and implementation.
• To deliver Team Briefings and identify the training needs of the kitchen and individuals to meet the business needs.
• To Support Head chef in delivering required standard of food, and kitchen operation.
• Always comply with the HR Staff Code of Conduct.
• To ensure that the uniform provided is always worn whilst on duty.
• Demonstrate good customer service attitude to our clients, staff and customers.
• Responsible in maintaining a safe working environment to minimise accidents within the workplace.

What you bring:  

• Proven experience as a Chef in a high volume setting
• Professional cookery or culinary education
• Passion for experimenting with flavours and ingredients
• Strong leadership and organisational skills.
• Commitment to maintaining the highest food safety and hygiene standards
• Proven initiative and creative background to exceed expectations
