The Highways Development Management team currently comprises of two team leaders who line manage a team of 14 staff who deal with approximately 3,000 planning applications a year plus pre-application advice.

Main ResponsibilitiesAs an Engineer, you will be part of the team providing detailed responses on planning applications as a statutory consultee. You will be the main contact with the Local Planning Authority (LPA) ensuring the relationship is a positive one and the responses to them are detailed and encompass all elements of transport and highway safety.
