We are currently looking for Waiting Staff to join our team at Hartnett Holder & Co, our restaurant within the award-winning five-star Lime Wood Hotel. Hartnett Holder & Co is a relaxed and comfortable restaurant - full of character and relaxed in style. Angela Hartnett and Lime Wood’s Luke Holder, with their team, create locally sourced Italian dishes with a respectful nod to the seasons. On occasion, you may also be required to support the service within our Courtyard Bar – a more casual dining offering, plus our private dining spaces.

About the role:

As Waiting Staff, you will be encouraged to provide a fun dining not fine dining experience. A focus of providing excellent customer service, offering a warm and positive experience to our guests.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Provide a relaxed and informal service. Serving our main HHCO Restaurant menu.
  • Ensure all tables are prepared for service and turned over in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Taking orders and serving food.
  • Keep the restaurant clean and tidy at all times & replenish stock.
  • Prepare tables for the upcoming service, supporting the team with the preparation of menu’s, table dressings, cutlery, and condiments.
  • Understanding of food safety & allergens, ensuring compliancy is always met.
  • Work collaboratively with the team, chipping in with other areas to support as/when required.


Previous experience is a similar role is beneficial but not essential. We are seeking for passionate, people-focused team members who take pride in a job well done.
