Job Summary
To assist the warehouse manager to ensure the warehousing and distribution functions of the business are maintained to ensure standards of quality, accuracy, safety etc are met in a timely manner and appropriate to the needs of the business and meet all legal requirements.

Additional information: The assistant manager may be required to carry out any warehouse tasks and operations according to the needs of the business.

Assistant Warehouse Manager Responsibilities:
• Assist the Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily operations of the warehouse
• Supervise and train warehouse staff to ensure efficient and accurate work
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing and operations department
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize warehouse processes
• Assist in conducting regular inventory audits
• Health & Safety for Heaven Sends
• Forklift & Flexi Truck license required - training to be given if you have not already got one.

Assistant Warehouse Manager Skills:
o Strong leadership and management abilities

o Knowledge of inventory control principles and practices
o Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely
