We are looking for an Administrator to come and join our Geospatial department; the candidate will be required to be present at the Midlands office, located in Southam, to work closely with the regional team with a basic salary offering of £25,000.

Main Responsibilities

This role is to provide support to the field, operational and commercial office colleagues in the Geospatial department in it’s everyday duties. The candidate will be an integral part of the area team and in contact with colleagues from finance, HR, field and office-based staff throughout each day.

Your daily duties will include: 

  • Assist the operations managers/department heads with scheduling appointments, surveyors site visits and managing calendars.
  • Assisting with Nexgen job set up and general Nexgen administration.
  • Perform various administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the office.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to enquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting, distributing.
  • Prepare and edit documents, correspondence, and reports.
  • Conduct data entry and maintain accurate records on inhouse CRM system.
  • Perform general clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and scanning.
  • Raising of third-party purchase orders and compiling subcontract agreements.
  • Fielding of questions/queries from site staff.
  • Assist and compile utilities record searches.
  • Invoicing.

The Ideal Candidate
  • Strong clerical and administrative skills
  • Being able to work well within a team, build rapport with colleagues and be supportive is essential. 
  • Proficient in office procedures and protocols
  • Being able to pick up and learn new skills quickly is advantageous for this role. 
  • Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
  • Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to type accurately and efficiently.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to take direction but also able to work on their own initiative and to defined timescales
