Waiting Staff – Casual Dining

Salaries: £11.10-£11.44 per hour, plus service charge

Depending on the role and hours worked, in our core Spring/Summer months, our Waiting Staff at Harlyn Bay have earnt up to £600 in service charge per month. Whilst service charge varies, in the summer, there is never a quiet day at THE PIG – at Harlyn Bay, so you can expect your piggy bank to be filled.

Contracts Available: 0-hour contract, immediate start or a Fixed-Term, Seasonal/Summer Contract – May/June Start Dates with contracts ending in September/October.

Hours: 0-hour casual – as/when required.

OR Fixed-Term, Seasonal Contracts – Full & Part-Time hours available.

During the warmer months, THE PIG – at Harlyn Bay becomes extremely popular. Our outdoor dining – The Lobster Shed welcome’s hotel guests, pre-booked reservations, and walk-ins. Our hotel sleeps at full capacity, providing our teams with a buzzy, atmospheric place of work all day, every day.

To meet the demand, we require Waiting Staff to drive the service at our casual dining option, The Lobster Shed.

The Lobster Shed is our seasonal outdoor restaurant, offering a paired down menu. Here you will find Padstows, Lobster Hatcery’s Lobster, super salads, and classic ice-cream sundaes.

We want our team to bring their personality to the job in hand and enjoy where they work. At THE PIG – at Harlyn Bay, you will experience the seasonal produce grown within our kitchen garden and interactions with a variety of people in an informal setting. We encourage creativity and want our staff to feel empowered to give that little extra in everything they do.

Our 0-hour and fixed-term contracts allow you the flexibility to leave our team at the end of the summer or subject to availability and performance, a future with THE PIG Hotels, whether at THE PIG – at Harlyn Bay, or another PIG Hotel.

Any experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential. We are looking for smiley, friendly people who strive from working in a fast paced and fun environment.
