What is the job role?

Allesley Hall Primary School are looking to appoint a highly motivated, organised and committed School Business Manager to join the School Leadership Team and further drive standards across the school.

The role will be 30 hours per week (term time only with the addition of 5 teacher training days across an academic year) and there will be some flexibility in regard to working arrangements for the successful candidate.

Who are we looking for?

The successful candidate will have responsibility for leading the following areas across the whole school:

  • Finance and budget management.
  • Human Resources
  • Site management and maintenance
  • Health and safety
  • Administration and ICT
  • GDPR
  • Procurement processes and tender management

Our new Business Manager will ideally have an awareness of business management in a school environment. The successful candidate will be able to work calmly under pressure, communicate effectively with different stakeholders and be able to organise their own workload, and direct colleagues around them, according to priorities.

As part of the Leadership Team, you will contribute to the schools ongoing planning and development to improve the school.
