The Methodist Church in Britain are seeking a passionate Junior Power Platform Developer to join our IT team. In this role, you will contribute to the development and enhancement of our internal and external applications using Microsoft Power Platform technologies. You will have the chance to work on various projects, such as custom app development that support the Church’s mission. You will work closely with our IT team and various departments to understand the needs and translate them into effective, user-friendly solutions under the guidance of the IT Applications Manager.
About You
As an ideal candidate, you should have a foundational understanding of Microsoft Power Platform components, including Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI. A basic knowledge of common data service and data connectors is advantageous, as is a good holistic technical understanding. You are eager to learn and grow your skills in a supportive environment. You should be comfortable working in a collaborative setting, communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical team members to understand their requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
You are innovative and creative, constantly looking for new ways to improve processes and solutions. You have a keen interest in technology and its application in a not-for-profit context, and you are motivated by the Churches’ vision to be a growing, evangelist, inclusive and justice-seeking community.
