We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive, experienced, motivated Site Acquisition Manager to join a growing team. This role will focus on identifying and acquiring new sites for EV charging and complimentary co-locators through partnerships and site deals.

Key tasks:
Responsible for the growth and development of my clients EV network, through site acquisitions and securing opportunities with partnerships and site owners/occupiers
Identify, evaluate, negotiate and secure strategic locations for EV charging and suitable co-locators according to agreed criteria
Assess the feasibility of proposed schemes and have regard for matters such as tenure, boundary issues, existing tenancies and restrictions/covenants
Collaborate with wider teams (Design & Engineering) to assist evaluate suitable site parcel opportunities and create inceptive layout designs ahead of landlord and developer consultation
Negotiate favourable Heads of Terms for each acquisitions or partnership in line with company expectations
Manage external agents working on our behalf
Internal and external stakeholder management
Cross-functional collaboration with teams to achieve success
Stay up to date with market and competitors activity and report accordingly
Ensuring all opportunities within the team are identified, tracked and progress monitored (with assistance from wider teams) to allow you and other colleagues to have almost real-time updated information to base calculated decisions upon

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of UK property law, proven acquisition success, and established connections within the real estate industry.

Skills
An interest and passion for the renewable energy sector
A professional with several years relevant experience
A background in agency and/or real estate or site acquisitions is favourable
Existing relationships with landlords/developers
Existing network of contacts in local and national agencies
Proven track record in delivering acquisitions programmes
Knowledge of zoning and permitting processes
Familiarity with EV infrastructure ideal but not essential
knowledge of planning law, development projects and site assembly
Ability to build and maintain relationships both internally and externally
A confident approach to problem solving and the ability to present new ideas and solutions to challenges
