We are currently recruiting Support Facilitators to join our casual pool to work in a variety of settings including day services, respite, care homes and supported living. We have services across the county and can offer you experience in a range of care settings.

Induction and training will be provided and there may be permanent job opportunities in the future which would be offered to our casual pool in the first instance.

Pay rate starts from £13.02 per hour.

This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check and will require a pre-employment health assessment as part of the onboarding process.

Main Responsibilities

We offer diverse and varied work experiences, with no day being the same. Some of the tasks you may undertake include:

  • Supporting with personal care (dressing, showering etc.)
  • Supporting with eating and drinking
  • Administering medication
  • Supporting someone to access their community safely
  • Running activities and sensory sessions in our centres
  • The role may require you to carry out manual handling tasks to support clients in their day to day lives
The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be able to work flexibly across the week, either day or night shifts. Given our services are county-wide, the ideal candidate will have a current driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.

The ideal candidate will have a NVQ level 2 or Care Certificate.

  • No care experience necessary, we provide full training to the right person
  • Experience of working in a team
  • Understanding of privacy and confidentiality legislation
  • Practical knowledge of health and safety at work
  • Enthusiastic about working with people with learning disabilities and autism and strong commitment to our values
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel to cover work as allocated
  • Willing and physically able to support people with personal and intimate care needs, including manual handling
  • Information and communication technology skills
