Staff for Education are proud to be working in partnership with Primary Schools in Chesterfield and the local surrounding areas and we are currently recruiting for Teaching Assistants for day to day, short term and long term supply roles for the summer term and September 2024.
As a Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
• Supporting the class teacher during lessons
• Working with small groups of pupils or on a 1 to 1 basis
• Running small group exercises
• Ensuring students understand the lessons and work they are completing
• Providing regular feedback to students and the class teacher
To be successful for the role, you will:
• Have a recognised Teaching Assistant Qualification/experience
• Have previous experience working within a school environment
• Have a passion for working with young people and enhancing their learning
