We are looking for team players who can coach various sports and activities to Junior School aged children within our After School Club (ASC) Programme. All training would be provided but previous experience coaching children is desirable. Being able to effectively interact with children, adults, parents, teachers, staff, and colleagues is an integral part of the role. Team members will demonstrate a keen interest in sport and a genuine interest in helping others.
The ASC provides wraparound care for our younger children, from Nursery school age to Primary 6.
The successful candidate will be expected to commit to a minimum of 3 shifts per week (Monday to Friday). Each shift is from 2pm to 5pm. The role is initially available until June 2024 but there is the possibility of permanent, term-time roles.
Positions are available immediately, subject to satisfactory checks with previous employers and Disclosure Scotland. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK to apply for this role.

The Ideal CandidateThe Edinburgh Academy is a fully co-educational school. The School consists of a Senior School, Junior School and a Nursery Department. The School is a member of HMC. The Edinburgh Academy moved to full co-education across the whole school in 2008. The Junior and Senior Schools are on separate sites, both of which have spacious grounds and sports facilities including extensive playing fields, an all-weather sports area, and a large Sports Hall and Centre.
