First and foremost, you need to be kind and caring. As a team leader you will be responsible for ensuring my support needs are met and I am able to live a happy and fulfilled life. This is achieved by making sure my support plan is always up to date with my current information, putting together a compliant staff rota, supporting me to work towards my goals and dreams, supporting us to develop our lifeskills and completing health and safety checks within my home.
My peers and I like to have fun and try new things. Our team leader is required to support us to access activities of our choice. Some of our favourite activities include nightclubbing, the polar express, swimming, shows and theme parks.
So if you think you could be the person to support my peers and I to live our best lives whilst ensuring we are safe and our support needs are being met then we want to hear from you!"
The Team Leader Role
