Are you a qualified nurse looking for a new senior clinical lead role in a caring and supportive environment where you can lead and develop an amazing care team?  

You’ll become an integral part of our management team when you join our outstanding rated Bridge House Care Home in Abingdon as our Clinical Lead.  You’ll work alongside the Home Manager to ensure the home is run to the highest standards of professional and clinical practice. You must be a qualified nurse with excellent clinical experience and competent in catheterisation, venepuncture, syringe driver and wound management.

About the role

Your role

As our Clinical Lead, you will take on the responsibility for the effective operation and delivery of the home’s business plan alongside the Home Manager.  You will have join responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home to exceed CQC standards.  You’ll recruit, induct, appraise and develop the care team to ensure that they fully trained and able to deliver the best possible care to our residents. 

Here’s some other important things you need to know:

  • You will have sound working knowledge of CQC, Safeguarding and Quality monitoring
  • You will ensure that the daily staff rota is always in place to minimize agency use.
  • Ensure that all nursing team are competent in fulfilling their roles and responsibilities and to carry our regular checks as required, and spot checks to be done on both day and night team.
