Sodexo G&A delivers social value by assisting sustainable, and positive behaviour among Ex offenders. We do this through working in partnership with or client MoJ and customer NPS who help people when they leave prison to re-enter society and support individuals who are returning into the community.

 

Our accommodation Services provides support in securing a step into settled accommodation. Research shows having safe and permanent accommodation can play a significant role in helping reduce the risk of someone reoffending.

 

To support 26 of our approved premises we are looking for a dedicated Service Manger to oversee the performance and quality of our catering provided within our hostels.

 

Each Hostel serves a self-service breakfast and an evening meal 7 days per week, 365 days per year which is prepared and cooked by our chefs for which you will oversee the Menu planning.

As we are an all year service you will need to be on call some weekends.

 

You will be responsible for building, managing and developing this large team so strong proven management experience is essential.

 

This role will be varied and encompass a broad range of responsibilities including; Health and Safety, Payroll and HR Cases.

 

Sodexo prides itself on our Social Value and as such you will have the opportunity to develop some exciting initiatives such as our Simply Nutritious scheme which helps our service users to budget, buy and plan creative healthy meals on a low income. Theme nights which give something new, these can include a quiz etc around the origin of the country in that theme

 

With the ability to manage your own diary, this is a Hybrid role with the expectation of a minimum of three days per week on the road visiting sites across the region ( Durham, Newcastle, Middlesbrough, York, Leeds, Halifax, Bradford, Sheffield, Doncaster, Nottingham, Leicester, Birmingham) – But we are offering a company Car.
