As a Kitchen Assistant for Sodexo in Nuffield Health Woking Hospital, GU21 4BY​, you will be a key part of the team. you’ll have an enthusiasm for food and a willingness to learn and develop your skills. You will champion exceptional standards of cleanliness within the kitchen and support our chefs in the delivery of nutritious meals.

What you’ll do:   

• Assist with food preparation working collaboratively with members of the kitchen team.
• Serve and replenish food counters.
• Support with cleaning and sanitising of equipment and workstations. 
• Ensure that dishwash area and equipment is kept clean.
• Assist with deliveries, stock rotation and replenishment.

What you bring: 

• Previous kitchen experience
• Basic food-handling skills are desirable, but not essential if you are willing to learn.
• Cheerful outlook, professionalism, and respect for others 
• Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods (up to 8 hours) 
• Willing to learn new skills e.g., Health & Safety, Health & Hygiene, Food Safety
