Our Flixton site in Suffolk is currently looking for an electrical maintenance engineer.

The role is fast paced and it's important that the right candidate has got all relevant qualifications and Strong background in electrical fault finding.

• The hours of work and shift pattern are: Nightshift 12hrs shifts, 4on/4off

Reporting directly to Engineering shift supervisor our Maintenance Engineer will:

• Maintain all equipment on site in the safest and most efficient manner. Adhering to site engineering procedure.
• Carry out reactive maintenance to machinery and plant, alone or as part of a team, and perform nightly planned preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Work well as a shift electrician, fault finding, understanding electrical drawings and schematics. To be confident with decision making on diagnosing equipment failures.
• Work safely at all times, adhering to the 2SFG Health and Safety procedure.
• Demonstrate good housekeeping and complete jobs to a satisfactory standard compliant with food manufacturing procedures.
• Prioritise jobs on plant critical equipment in a timely manner.

Our successful candidate will demonstrate:

• The ability to work well alone and safely at all times, adhering to the 2SFG Health and Safety procedure.
• Experience of fault finding with the ability to understand electrical drawings and schematics.
• Confidence to make judgements on diagnosing equipment failures.
• Good housekeeping and completing jobs to a satisfactory standard always complying with food manufacturing procedures.
• The ability to prioritise jobs on plant critical equipment in a timely manner.

Additionally candidates will require:

• Industry Recognized Electrical Qualification.
• NVQ level 3 and above
• 18th edition electrical (Desirable)
• Testing and inspection (Desirable)
