The Opportunity

Funeral Partners are looking to appoint a Fleet Co-ordinator to support the Head of Operational Support manage their fleet of over 500 vehicles across the UK. The role is new to the business and represents the investment we are making to support the growth we are experiencing.

The role requires someone who is flexible in their approach, can work under pressure due to the reactive nature of the role and is a great communicator and problem solver. Strong IT skills are required, using third party software systems and Microsoft Excel for producing management reports and presentations. The successful candidate will be proficient and confident in driving all types of vehicles associated with a funeral business.

There is a requirement to stay away from home on an ad hoc basis, this can be reactive in nature to meet the needs of the business.

Dealing with third party suppliers should be a key skill of any applicant to the role.

About You

We welcome applications from people with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to influence people at all levels, you must be numerate and analytical with strong attention to detail and have strong Excel skills including data manipulation. You must be able to operate under pressure due to the reactive nature of the role.

You should have a strong commercial awareness and supplier management experience and will need to be flexible to cover a national reactive role with ad hoc overnight stays and have a full UK manual driving license.
