Role – Assistant Technical manager role
Location – Based close to Thetford, Norfolk
Working hours – Monday to Friday – 8am – 5pm
Salary – Up to £40,000 per annum
Capacity of role – Permanent position

Our well respected client is currently recruiting for a Technical Manager to join their busy compliance team.
Applicants will need previous experience within a similar position and will need to have experience working within an FMCG environment.
An immediate start could be offered for the right applicant

Main duties will include –
 Supporting management team with compliance and technical administration duties
 Ensuring all standards are followed, adhered to and demonstrated to the team
 Being involved and maintaining all technical based duties
 Administration based duties – compiling and tendering data reports, responding customer quires and complaints trending.
 Active involvement, assist and lead when deemed appropriate with customer visits and audits in internal, and with appropriate training external auditing,
 Assisting with projects and ensuring the smooth running of contracts
 Maintaining records and documentations relating to process control
 Management of the Quality team onsite.

Candidate attributes –
 Demonstrates strong people management skills
 Previous experience within a similar Technical / QA Management role in a FMCG environment
 Working experience of HACCP, BRC & retailers code of practice
 Food Science degree would be desirable
 Computer literate in all Microsoft packages
