Warwickshire’s and Coventry’s SACRE are looking to appoint a new RE Facilitator to support their work. This will be an SLA with a local school to second a teacher for one day per week, for 2 years in the first instance.

The key responsibilities of the RE Facilitator role are:

• To facilitate the work of the SACRE and attend SACRE meetings
• Act as a single point of reference for Warwickshire and Coventry schools
• Lead and develop areas related to the Agreed Syllabus, including developing new electronic resources and materials for schools to deliver RE
• Produce the SACRE annual report in line with national guidelines
• Deliver a series of twilight meetings and plan annual activities on behalf of SACRE
• Monitor the work of RE on behalf of Warwickshire and Coventry local authorities
• The RE Facilitator will report to the co-chairs of SACRE
