Key Responsibilities:
- Clean, vacuum, tidy and polish the common areas of the office, thoroughly clean the kitchen and toilets.
- Empty designated waste bins containing general and recycling.
- Notify the Central Operations Manager in good time, when cleaning supplies run low.
- Understand and implement the National Standards of Healthcare Cleanliness 2007 and 2021 and the National Colour Coding Scheme
- Personal safety
- Infection Control
- Care of cleaning equipment
- Cleaning standards
- Cleaning of designated areas and aware of non-designated areas
- Following Health & Safety, COSHH and all relevant and new regulations
- Maintaining full accurate cleaning records – daily, weekly, monthly, six monthly and annually
- Understanding and assurance of Personal Protective Equipment
- Using and handling electrical equipment
- Carrying out any other reasonable management requests
- Responsibility of lone worker policy and risk assessment
- Waste management (not handling hazardous or sharp waste)
- Current training in office cleaning
- Understanding confidentiality
- Act in accordance with office rules and code of conduct.
- Any other duties which from time to time may be necessary.
- To keep the office hygienic and up to the CQC / HIW and NHS regulations and standards.
Role Competencies
- Knowledge of safety standards for cleaning in a healthcare environment and ability to handle cleaning chemicals safety.
- Previous cleaning experience in a similar role
- Understanding of COSHH regulations is desirable.
- High attention to detail
- Reliable with excellent timekeeping
- Ability to work independently.
- Requirement to achieve client vetting clearance for the role.
- Requirement to complete full induction on site and online
- Requirement to complete online training courses as per induction.
- You are hardworking, reliable and have attention to detail.
