About us and the role

 

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join Warwickshire County Council’s Digital & ICT service, as Delivery Lead Schools ICT.

Working within Schools ICT, the successful candidate will lead a team of circa 31 colleagues, including Infrastructure, Service Delivery and Application Support functions to deliver a robust, stable and secure service to all Schools currently supported by WCC.

 

The role also interfaces with the Delivery Lead ICT Operations and Delivery Lead ICT Development to ensure a consistent approach to delivery, finances and security of our systems and processes.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

The successful candidate will have experience in front line management, where the ability to respond to incidents promptly and efficiently is critical, and clear communication with both customers and colleagues is essential.

Knowledge and experience of managing teams and setting strategy and managing budget is also essential.

Experience of implementing ITIL processes and procedures would be advantageous, experience of delivery of services to a public function such as a school or library is also highly desirable.
