As Cleaning operative  with Sodexo at Sullom Voe, you are also a multitasker and organisational authority; you will be the go-to person... the one who knows where everything is and makes sure the area operates smoothly. You will make sure that Manual Handling guidelines and Health and Safety regulations are followed, that your work areas operating effectively, and that any problems or non-compliances are reported. What you’ll do:

•  Issue inventory items from warehouse stock.
•  Receipt inventory into warehouse stock following correct identification.
• Assist users in identifying required materials.
• Staging of Works ordered planned materials in preparation for job start.
• Stock Counting.
• Maintain MSDS database for all relevant stocked items.
• Ensure that all materials transactions are recorded in Maximo.
• Communicate with vendors to correct queries and problems.
• Load / Unload materials using forklifts.
• Assist in reviewing long term stored materials to optimise holdings and space.
• General Housekeeping.

What you bring:

• A positive attitude and ability to communicate with co-workers and other departments with professionalism and respect
• IT literacy with a thorough grasp and competency in using Microsoft packages.
• Willingness to be open to learning and growing

• Work Pattern:  Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
• Rate of pay:  £12.43per hour
• Contract: 12 months Fixed Term
