PRODUCTION SUPERVISER
NOTTINGHAM
£34,000 PER ANNUM
ROTATING SHIFTS - 06:00AM - 13:30PM AND 11:30AM -19:00PM MONDAY – FRIDAY
PERMANENT
Our client based in Nottingham who manufacture moulded products are currently looking for a new production supervisor to join their team on a permanent basis!
This role is a perfect opportunity for someone with experience supervising within a manufacturing environment to take on a new challenge and join a well-established growing business.
Role Responsibilities:
• Plan and oversee production operations
• Supervising the production team ensuring production is completed in a timely manner
• Performing tool changes and maintenance on injection moulding machines when necessary
• Ensuring staff appraisals are made monthly
• Recording production information efficiently
• Reduce downtime of machinery by reacting quickly to machine breakdowns
• Liaising with production engineering team and other departments in regards to production
Requirements:
• Previous supervisory experience
• Confident maintaining machinery
• Experienced working within a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Ability to oversee production and health and safety
• Strong communication skills
Desirable skills:
• Experience working within injection moulding or compression moulding
• Previous experience troubleshooting
• Hold a forklift license
• IT skills
