HGV 1 Day Yard Shunter Part Time


To start 15th April 24

About The Role:
We need someone who is local to Ponte area , or willing to travel.

You will need experience of a Terberg Shunter. The role will be shunting two and a half days per week as well as holiday cover.

This could be a role on its own for someone who just wanted to work 2.5 days a week, but we would expect holiday cover for when full time shunter is on leave. 2.5 days will be approx. 25 – 30 hours per week

This could be made a full time role by the remainder of the week being driving class one. This is a day role with no nights out, unless that is the preference of the applicant when driving.

It really is a role we can adapt to the correct person to cover the shunting role.

Rates are has follows
Shunting £15.60
Driving £12.50 per hour
1 years previous experience of HGV 1 in the UK
No more then 6 points for minor offences only

Driver Requirements:
Being punctual and organised.
Keen eye for detail.
To comply with drivers hours, rules and regulations at all times.
Ensure all POD are signed.
Well presented and hold a professional manner at all times.
Ensure all daily checks are completed and report any defects accordingly.
