Are you ready to make a real difference while pursuing a rewarding career path? We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as a Reward and Benefits Officer within the People Services Team at Housing 21!

As our newest team member, you will have the chance to work closely with the Rewards and Payroll Assistant Manager to champion Housing 21's exceptional Reward and Benefits offerings. Your role will involve providing expert guidance on rewards, ensuring alignment with our organisation's policies and practices, and driving initiatives to enhance our services and customer experience.

While the role offers flexibility with home-based work, the successful candidate will be required to attend team meetings at our head office in Birmingham as required.

What we’re looking for

The essential requirements for the role include:

  • Knowledge and experience in benefits, pensions, and taxation to ensure compliance and effective reward design.
  • Benefits Administration Experience: Practical experience managing employee benefit programs and coordinating with providers for smooth enrolment and support.
  • Line management experience
  • HRIS Proficiency: Familiarity with HRIS systems like SAP or Workday for efficient management of benefit and compensation data (desirable)
  • Analytical Problem-Solving: Aptitude in analysing data to identify areas for improvement in reward programs and proposing solutions to enhance employee satisfaction and retention (desirable)
