Sutton Recruitment are working with a leading non food manufacturer based in West Hull and we are looking to recruit staff to work in the client's paint shop area.

The main duties for the role will include:
Spraying of metal drums of varying sizes
Mix paints and lacquers to correct viscosities
Setting up paint guns, pumps and heaters to ensure the drums have an even application of paint and lacquers
Maintaining the paint store and thinner compound in an organised fashion, segregating colours and types, using stock on a first in first out basis
Maintain and store silk screens to avoid damage
Set up and operate the silk screen machine as per company procedures

Previous spraying experience is preferred but not essential for this role as full training will be given, however machine operating experience will be an advantage. A willingness to learn is key to the role along with a 'dont mind getting dirty' attitude as the cleaning down process can messy.

The working hours are Mon-Thurs 8am-4.30pm Fri 8am-3.30pm.
This role will be offered on a temporary to permanent basis for the right candidate.
