CNC Setter Programmer - Salary:

• £15.00 - £17.00 per hour (DOE) plus overtime potential...


CNC Setter Programmer - The Job:
• Programming, setting, and operating CNC Turning machines.
• Interpretation of drawings and 3D digital files.
• Produce prototypes / small production runs.
• Carry out inspection of your work (CMM and Manual).
• Maintain clean and tidy stations.
• Produce work of a high standard by adhering to quality standards to ensure that product is produced to agreed specifications.
• Maintain a good working relationship with colleagues to promote successful teamwork.


CNC Setter Programmer - Job Requirements:

• Ideally Apprentice Trained
• Time served / equivalent experience in a precision machining company
• Competent in Fanuc controls and programming
• Strong understanding of Fanuc programs with ability to edit, re-run tools etc.
• Experience working with Haas machinery (Preferable)
• Able to move offsets
• Able to prove unproven programs, safely
• Competent in inspecting own work using CMMs and gauges to verify product quality
• CAM experience (Preferably OneCNC)
• Working to tight tolerances
• Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail
• Team Player
• Flexible


CNC Setter Programmer - Shift pattern:

• Monday – Thursday 07:00-16:15pm & Friday 07:00am– 12:00pm.
