We are looking for an enthusiastic and kind individual who genuinely enjoys the company of young people.  You will also have an active interest in sport and experience in coaching.

The role has two key elements.  In the mornings, you will work with our teaching staff providing classroom support, mostly with our Geits (Primary 7 age) pupils.  Your role will be to actively assist in the classroom, provide administrative support and help with the organisation of resources and activities.  In the afternoons, you will work alongside our PE and Games staff in providing sports coaching to pupils of all ages.

Our interns would normally be expected to help in coaching a sports team and so would therefore be part of our Saturday morning Games programme.

This role is particularly suited to someone who might be interested in a career in teaching and there will be opportunities to provide bespoke experience relating to interest areas of the individual.

The role is term time only and is for the 24/25 academic session, starting 16 August 2024 until 27 June 2025.
