Jark Cambridge have a vacancy for a Mechanical Project Manager on a 9 month contract based in Witham, Essex.

You will require a current SMSTS / SSSTS and First Aid Qualification and good knowledge of MS project software.

The project is a £2million M & E value new commercial building and your duties will include:

- Being the lead M&E person on the site reporting weekly to the director of the business.
- Responsible running the day to day site activities including health & safety, overseeing sub contractors with the assitance of 2 site supervisors.
- Programming the labour schedule
- Attending regular progress meetings with the main contractor.
- Ensuring the succesful delivery of the project on time & within budget

In addtion to running the Mechanical package you will also be required to supervise the Electrical works on site which make up around 1/3rd of the project.

Working hours are 9 per day Monday to Friday and there is on site parking available.

This position is due to run between June 2024 and March 2025 and there may be an option for a permanent position if desired at the end of this.
